The student of the Kokshetau Higher Medical College Aitmukhambet Aruzhan took part in the international youth debate tournament “Controversy”, which took place at the South Ural State University in Chelyabinsk. Participants in the debate tournament were invited from 15 cities in Russia and the CIS countries. The main goal of this event was to develop a culture of parliamentarism, build a civil society, exchange experiences, strengthen cooperation, and stimulate cognitive activity. By participating in the debate tournament, Aruzhan showed her knowledge, acquired playing skills at the international level and became familiar with the new format of debate. Aruzhan plans to pass on his acquired experience to members of the Verbum debate club.
